Learning Profile Evaluation

Find Out What’s Actually Going On

Is your teen struggling, but you’re not sure why? It’s heartbreaking to watch a bright, capable kid sit at the kitchen table feeling defeated — and to feel your own role shift from supportive parent to frustrated enforcer.

Before we can fix anything, we need to know exactly where the breakdown is happening. Our evaluation is built to find it — not just the letter grade, but what’s underneath it.

What a Real Evaluation Actually Uncovers

Report cards show the fallout. They rarely show the root cause. A real evaluation looks past the grade to understand how your teen processes information, retains it, and manages the day-to-day work of being a student.

“We spent months guessing why our daughter was falling behind in algebra. The evaluation found a specific foundational gap from two grade levels back. Once we targeted that, her confidence came back — and so did the A’s.” — Sarah M., Parent of an 8th Grader

Inside the Evaluation

  • Full Standardized Academic Testing — A deep-dive assessment across core academic areas to see exactly where skills diverge from grade level.
  • Learning Style & Wiring Analysis — Understanding whether your teen thrives with visual, auditory, or hands-on instruction, and where executive functioning and belief systems are helping or getting in the way.
  • A Clear, Written Roadmap — Exactly what your teen needs, in what order, to catch up or move ahead — no vague next steps.
  • A 1-on-1 Parent Consultation — A real conversation to walk through the findings together and build a plan, not just hand you a report and disappear.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does the evaluation take? Each testing session typically runs 60–90 minutes. Some students complete everything in one sitting — others need it spread across a couple of sessions, and that’s completely fine. We watch for signs of fatigue or overwhelm and pace accordingly, because a tired, frustrated student doesn’t give us an accurate picture. Getting it right matters more than getting it done fast.

What happens after testing? Within a few days, you’ll get a full written report and a scheduled consultation to walk through what we found and what we’d recommend.

Do you use the same tests as the school? We use full, standardized academic evaluation tools — the same caliber of testing used by education professionals — to make sure what we find is accurate and actionable, not a guess.

Ready to Know What’s Really Going On?

A concept missed this week can compound into a unit failed next month. Understanding the real cause now — instead of months from now — is often the difference between a quick correction and a much longer road back.

Every evaluation starts with a short conversation first, so we can talk through what your teen needs and make sure we’re running the right assessments for them from the start.
